Dutch Apple Pie
	
	INGREDIENTS:
	
	1             Ready Crust Shortbread Pie Crust
	1             egg yolk, beaten
	5-1/2 cups    cooking apples, peeled and sliced
	1 tablespoon  lemon juice
	1/2 cup       sugar
	1/4 cup       brown sugar
	3 tablespoons flour
	1/4 teaspoon  salt
	1/2 teaspoon  cinnamon
	1/4 teaspoon  nutmeg.
	
	
	TOPPING:
	
	1/4 cup sugar
	1/4 cup brown sugar
	3/4 cup flour
	1/3 cup margarine
	
	
	
	DIRECTIONS: 
	
	1) Begin by preheating the oven to 375°F.
	2) Using your basting brush, evenly baste the inside of the pie crust with 
	   the egg yolk. Then bake the basted pie crusts in the oven until they are 
	   golden brown. This should take about 5 minutes.
	3) In a large mixing bowl, combine the peeled and sliced cooking apples, 
	   lemon juice, sugar, brown sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix 
	   well and spoon into the baked pie crust.
	4) To make the easy pie topping, combine the flour, sugar, brown sugar and 
	   margarine in a medium mixing bowl. 
	5) Using a fork, mix the ingredients together until they're crumbly.
	6) Sprinkle the topping over the apple mixture in the pie crust.
	7) Bake the pie on a baking sheet until the topping is golden and the 
	   filling is bubbling. that should take about fifty minutes, but check on it 
	   every once in a while.
