Pasta Fagioli
	A hearty and delicious pasta dish that is made in one pot.
	1 cup chicken broth, lowfat and low sodium
	3 cups frozen Italian style mixed vegetables
	1 tsp. each: thyme, garlic powder, and oregano
	1 bay leaf
	15 oz. can stewed, diced tomatoes with onions and green peppers
	2 Tbsp. tomato paste
	10 oz. can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
	1 cup dry macaroni
	Add all ingredients to large, covered microwaveable container. 
	Microwave on full power for 12-15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
	Stir every 4 minutes. Serve in pasta or soup bowl.
	Serves 4. Each 2 cup serving: 310 calories, 2.5 g fat, 0 g saturated 
	fat, 0 mg cholesterol, 110 mg sodium, 58 g carbohydrate, 9 g fiber, 
	15 g protein. Diabetic exchange: 2 bread, 4 veg.
